Acceptable use policy

This policy is part of our terms of service. It applies to everyone who uses Llamabyt, guests included, and to what llamas do on their requests: you’re responsible for the work you give your llamas and for what you allow them to do.

Don’t use Llamabyt to

• Break the law, or help anyone else break it, anywhere you or the people affected are.
• Harm children. Content that sexualizes minors is never allowed; we remove it and report it to the authorities.
• Harm or harass people: threats, stalking, harassment, hateful content that targets people for who they are, content that promotes violence, or sharing intimate images of someone without their consent.
• Deceive people: scams, phishing, pretending to be someone you’re not, or making AI-written content look like it came from a person when that would mislead.
• Spam: mass messages, or invites to people who didn’t ask for them.
• Infringe others’ rights: content or files you don’t have the right to use, or other people’s personal data you have no right to process.
• Spread malware, or anything designed to damage devices, data or systems.
• Reach what isn’t yours: other people’s accounts, workspaces or data, or, through your llamas and connected apps, systems and accounts you aren’t allowed to use.

Don’t misuse Llamabyt itself

• Don’t attack, overload or disrupt Llamabyt, or get around its security or its limits.
• Don’t probe or test it for weaknesses, except as our security page describes: tell us privately, and don’t access or change other people’s data.
• Don’t scrape it, copy it, resell it, or give others access to it outside what your plan allows.
• One account per person: don’t share accounts, or rotate people through them, to avoid paying for seats.
• Don’t make accounts to misuse access codes, trials or allowances, or to get back in after a suspension.

Your AI provider’s rules apply too

Your llamas think with your own AI: Anthropic’s Claude (through Claude Code or an API key) or OpenAI’s Codex. Follow that provider’s usage policies in everything you ask your llamas to do.

Decisions that affect people

Llamas can be wrong. Don’t let them make, on their own, decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people, like hiring, credit, housing, health or legal matters, without a person reviewing the result.

What we do if these rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, limit features, suspend the account, or close it. A suspended account can’t sign in, and its llamas stop working; nothing in it is deleted while it’s suspended. Where we can, we’ll tell you what happened and give you a chance to fix it. We report illegal content to the authorities when the law requires it.
