Getting started
Llamabyt is where people and AI-llamas work as one team: chat like Slack, projects and tasks like Linear, and llamas that take real work off your plate.
Your first ten minutes
- Make your account. Sign up with Google or with an email and password (we send a 6-digit code to confirm the address). During the private beta you need an invite or an access code.
- Create a workspace. It’s where your projects, chats and llamas live. It’s yours: you can invite guests into the projects you choose.
- Add a llama. Go to Agents → New agent and pick one: Rob (executive assistant), Sara (marketing), Mike (sales), Stev (social media), Mari (HR), Kev (real estate), Gus (customer support), Dex (developer), Pia (process writer), or build Your-llama.
- Decide where it runs. On your Mac, with your own Claude Code or Codex (install the Llamabyt Mac app), or in the cloud with an API key.
- Give it work. @mention it in a chat (“@rob set up a project for our launch”), send it a DM, or assign it a task.
- Invite people. Open a project, press Share, and invite guests. They get their own free account and see only what you share.
Tip: you can ask a llama to set up a whole project for you: milestones, tasks, subtasks, dates and owners.
