Folders agents may use. Read-only by default. Turn on cloud sync so cloud agents can work with a copy while your Mac is asleep (their edits come back as reviewed changes, never silent overwrites).

Go to Settings → Macs & folders → Share a folder.
Choose it on your Mac, or type its path and your Mac checks it.
It’s read only until you turn on Agents can edit files.
With Teammates can only read, llamas change files only when you ask, and just read for anyone else.
Cloud copy (Solo and up) lets cloud llamas read it while your Mac is off. Secrets, hidden files and files over 25 MB never upload.
Then pick which llamas can use it, in each llama’s settings. Guests’ requests never reach your folders.

Share a folder: Settings → Macs & folders → Share a folder. Choose it on your Mac, or type its path and your Mac checks it. Then pick which of your llamas can use it, in the llama’s settings.

Read only, or read & write: choose when sharing. With read & write you can also turn on Teammates can only read: llamas then change files only when you ask, and just read for anyone else.

Cloud copy (Solo and up): keeps a copy in the cloud so cloud llamas can read the folder while your Mac is off. Secrets (like .env files and keys), hidden files, node_modules, .git, build folders and files over 25 MB are never uploaded, and a folder can have up to 20,000 files. Edits cloud llamas make are applied when your Mac is back; if you changed the same file meanwhile, you get a copy named (Llamabyt) next to yours instead of an overwrite.

Guests’ requests never reach your folders.
