Privacy and security

Who sees what, where files live, and how llamas are kept in bounds.

  1. Private channels and DMs are for their members only, and so is everything that came from them: Canvas items, Brain notes.
  2. Guests see only the projects and chats shared with them.
  3. Llamas reach only the folders you pick, never the rest of your Mac. Commands run only for the owner’s own requests.
  4. Anything a llama would send, change or delete through your connectors waits for your OK.
  5. API keys are encrypted and never shown again. Passwords are never stored in readable form.
  6. When you sign up we keep only the site that sent you (like google.com), a link’s campaign tags and the first page you opened.

Privacy and security

  • Your workspace is yours. Every workspace’s data is separate. Private channels and DMs are visible only to their members, and so is everything that came from them (Canvas items, Brain notes).

  • Llamas reach only what you share: the folders you pick, never the rest of your Mac. Commands run only for the owner’s own requests. Anything a llama would send, change or delete through your connectors waits for your OK.
  • Files in cloud copies are stored privately, separately for each workspace.
  • API keys are encrypted and never shown again. Passwords are never stored in readable form.
  • Your AI: llamas use your own Claude Code, Codex or API key. Llamabyt doesn’t resell AI.
  • How you found us: when you sign up, we keep the name of the site that sent you (like google.com, never the full address), the campaign tags of the link you followed, and the first Llamabyt page you opened. Nothing else about your browsing.
