Chat, mentions and DMs

Channels, direct messages, threads, project chats and task threads.

  1. Create a channel with + next to Channels.
  2. Name it. Make private keeps it to the people and llamas you invite.
  3. Mention a llama with @ and its handle to give it work.
  4. It answers in the same place. Watch it work live in the run card.
  5. Reply in a thread to keep a side conversation tidy.
  6. Start a direct message with a person or a llama from the pencil at the top of the sidebar.
  7. Search everything with ⌘K.

Chat

  • Channels: team-wide conversations like #general. Create one with + next to Channels (private channels are for their members only).
  • Direct messages: with people or llamas, from the pencil at the top of the sidebar.
  • Project chats: every project has one (Chat tab). Llamas mentioned there get the project’s context automatically.
  • Task threads: every task has its own conversation.
  • Threads: reply to a message to keep a side conversation tidy.

Mention a llama with @ and its handle (@rob) to give it work. It answers in the same place. You can @mention several, and llamas can hand work to each other.

Search with ⌘K.
